 CYBER CROP - ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
Welcome to PurpleScraps Cyber Crops, 2006 is seeing the introduction of Cyber Cropping here in our Purple World, made possible by two of our members gererously offering their time. Thankyou to Emily (Badgirl81) and Vita (craftymess) for making them possible.
This is our OFFICIAL INFORMATION topic, where you will see all the crutial information for upcoming CROPS.
WHAT IS A CYBER CROP:
A Cyber Crop is the means by where we can scrap amoung friend in the comfort of our own home. Each member with access to their computer will meet at a scheduled time and follow challenges, play games and chat whilst scrapping together. Challenges are set for the weekend to be uploaded into a set album for judging and subsequent prize winning.
HOW IT WORKS:
Each CYBER CROP is sponsored by a business who will offer prizes in return for advertising. The Cyber Crop will consist of:
1. A Live BINGO game
2. A range of Challenges
3. Member Voting to determine the Challenge Winners
When a Cyber Crop is scheduled, there will be an anouncement listed on THIS topic, and there will be a new topic opened for the relevant month ie 'September 06 Cyber Crop - OPEN', this is where you will register your intention to participate, then as the Crop draws closer the BINGO will be listed where you may sign up and select your words ready for the big night. On the commencement of the Cuber Crop the Challenges will be listed, you may sign up fof as many or a little as you wish but you MUST have your layout submissions complete by the end of the weekend and submitted for voting.
 All Layouts MUST BE NEW CONSTRUCTIONS, made during the course of the relevant Crop and not submitted elsewhere.
Prior to the commencement of the current CYBER CROP you will be given a range of  CLUES, these will be posted in the CURRENT Cyber Crop topic (where you registered your intention to join), this will give you a hint on what you may been to prepare for the Crop.
WHO CHOOSES A WINNER:
YOU DO, each member has voting rights, and the winners are determined by voting by their peers and any other members who visit our Forum but do not have to have participated in the Cyber Crop.
TIME CO-ORDINATION:
To ensure we are all ready for the commencement of each Cyber Crop, check the individual details then check for your equivalent time via:

Hi everyone, this year PurpleScraps turned 2. So, in celebration of our 2 years, we will be having a PurpleScraps Cyber Crop or PCC for short. It will be great for us to get together & do a cropping session. Even if we live far apart, we can still meet in cyber space. And as a bonus, there will also be some prizes to win.
Here’s the deal. There will be some challenges to scrap & a LIVE BINGO game to play. For those of you who just can’t get enough of Bingo, head on to Mad Purple Chatters Room (our msn chatroom) & have a lovely game of Bingo. For those who much prefer to scrap, you can check the themes for the challenges in the forum. And of course for those of you who would love to do both, you can play Bingo first & scrap later.
RULES:
Challenge Rules:
1. Please sign in prior to do any challenge. This is to make it easier to find & double check your LOs in the gallery.
2. The sign ups will close on Sunday 21st May 2006, 10pm so you can still come late & join in.
3. There will be a voting by the end of the crop to decide a winner for each challenge.
4. Challenges will start as soon as the themes are posted into the forum. Everyone then will have until midnight Sunday 21st May to complete their LOs & upload them into the gallery.
5. Please put the correct challenge number on your LO title when uploading, for example: TITLE – Challenge 1 PCC. This is to make sure that your work won’t get left out when we put all the LO list in the poll.
6. If you have any questions, answers & chat regarding any of the challenges please post them in the relative thread. For example: Challenge 1 chat in challenge 1 thread. This is to make sure that your questions are answered.
